Iranian-American comedian Max Amini will take the stage twice in one night at Dubai Opera, Downtown Dubai, on Tuesday, 22 December 2026, with an early show at 6:30pm and a late show at 10pm UAE time.
Presale tickets opened this afternoon, Tuesday 3 November, at 5pm via Amini's own website, while general public sales go live tomorrow, 4 November, at 5pm through the regional ticketing platform. Pricing has not been announced yet.
Amini, who has spent more than two decades touring internationally as a stand-up comedian, is known for blending personal anecdotes, family stories and sharp cultural observation with heavy audience interaction, a format that has made him a favourite among diaspora audiences across North America, Europe and the Gulf. His comedy frequently draws on growing up between Iranian and American cultures, a theme that resonates strongly with Dubai's large Iranian and wider Middle Eastern community.
The decision to schedule back-to-back performances on the same evening signals that organisers are expecting strong demand for the show. Dubai Opera has increasingly become a regular stop for touring international comedians, and performances by Farsi-speaking and Middle Eastern comics in particular have consistently drawn large crowds in the emirate. Fans hoping to secure seats are advised to act quickly once each sales window opens, since similar shows in the city have sold out within hours in the past.
