Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, has launched his 219th book, titled "Al Julanda Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi," on the sidelines of the Sharjah International Book Fair. The Ruler said the new work took him only five days to write and just half a day to print, making it the latest addition to his long list of literary and historical works.

Speaking at the launch, Sheikh Dr Sultan said he has devoted 54 years of his life to historical and literary research and continues to write with the same enthusiasm he had at the start of his career. He described the new book as an example of his fast-paced creative process and stressed the importance of documenting and preserving historical knowledge for future generations.

The Sharjah International Book Fair, which draws publishers and writers from around the world every year, has once again brought together prominent cultural and literary figures, with the unveiling of the Ruler's latest book among its highlights. Sheikh Dr Sultan, long known for his writing and research on the history of Arab dynasties and the Gulf region, is now one of the most prolific ruling authors in the Arab world, having reached 219 published books.

Sharjah cultural officials say the launch reflects the emirate's long-standing policy of supporting books and knowledge, a policy that has helped establish Sharjah as one of the Gulf's leading cultural and literary hubs.
